In collaboration with the National Youth Council, and after nearly 1.5 years of prototyping and feedback with youths, we are proud to present to you Singapore’s first Participatory Budgeting toolkit, “Budget Boleh!”.
Learn how to involve the community in budgeting decisions and gain the confidence to use participatory budgeting as a tool to design with communities in Singapore through a fun and engaging team game.
We will be conducting 3 workshops where you can learn more about participatory budgeting and design, and be among the first to play the game!

What will I learn?
Learn about participatory budgeting as a community engagement strategy and tool, as well as those developed by P!D that will change the way you think about working with communities.
Learn how to work with different community stakeholders and involve the public in making budgeting decisions.
Understand the challenges faced in working and budgeting with the community in Singapore.
Be welcomed into a safe space where you can fail and experiment, but also succeed
Gain the confidence to launch a project or idea
Be exposed to the mindsets and skills of a participatory designer and community organiser that drive community change

Where does your money go?
As a design non-profit organisation, the surplus from P!D School will contribute to our social good projects and advocacy work which includes publication, talks and community projects that aims to empower communities through participatory design and inspire the next generation of creatives.
Participate in Design is a registered non-profit organisation and a public company by limited guarantee in Singapore.

Youths 35 years old and below
